Hi.. Bloggers! It is a part 2 of article about guest blogging. Before, I was posted what's guest blogging and the benefits. Now, as i said in previous guest blogging post, i will share to you how to guest blogging, the tips and strategies.

We know that guest blogging is have many benefits to our blog or our business. However, we are never get those benefits if we don't run the tips, tricks and the strategies. Guest blogging is a art. Don't ever to do that carelessly. Because on the contrary it is will make you loss. Your authority will decrease because your careless posts.

Because of that, you need to know how to guest blogging to increase your popularity. So, here i serve some tips and strategies to do that. Just follow....

TIPS

1. Submit post in famous sites
It has become a  absolute requirement that the popularity is determine your posts will get more hits or no. You must selective in choose the sites to submit ur posts. It is to get max result in your guest blogging. Before you submit your post, Ask the blog owner about the traffics. See also the number of feedbacks/comments in every posts. Also test the popularity in search engines, alexa rank and page rank of that sites.

2. Read and follow the guidelines and rules.
Before you submit your posts, you also must read the guidelines and the rules of guest blogging in the sites you selected. It is important to avoid the rejection and to know what the blog owner want. If there are no guidelines of guest blog page, just ask the blog owner via email. But remember, make sure that blog accept the guest blogging post. Because no all blog accept guest blogging.

3. Create the best contents
Don't hesitate and feel loss to create the best contents for other blog. Keep in mind, actually this is the main key of success in guest blogging. Don't ever submit your worst posts or your guest blogging will be useless. Even, you should feel lucky because your post get read by new and more audiences. Remember, people will more appreciate the author of post (you) than the publisher(blog owner). So, make sure that you introduce yourself to the reader.

4. Make The blog owner feel lucky to your posts
Well, Don't make the blog owner feel loss. How to make him feel lucky ?. Just submit the best of your post. Also optimize it. It will be perfect.

5. Be honestly
Almost every blog which accept guest blogging, make a requirement that the post you submitted must original, no plagiarism and no publish it again. This is for avoid duplicate contents for their blog. So you must obey this requirements. Don't ever to submit the same posts to 2 blogs or more. Be honestly..

6. Make a good and continuous relationship
This is important. Don't only consider the blog owner as the receiver of your post. Make him as your friend also. This will good if you want to submit your posts again later. Your post will easy to accepted because you are 'friend'.

7. Create the guest blogging Schedule
Yeah.. It is good. make guest blogging as your blogging habit. 1 guest post per month alone is good. Improve and promote your business/blog by guest blogging. The more your guest blog, The more your promotion, then the better your business/blog.

8. Submit different posts in different blogs
Don't submit your posts always to same blog. Submit your different posts to different blogs. It is for get new and more unique visitors, increase your experience and make more relationship.

9. Guest blogging in the blog which is related with your blog.
It is also important. Don't ever to guest blogging in blog which is not related with your blog. The audiences is not targeted. If your blog is about Gadget, Don't ever to guest blog in fashion blogs. It is idiot!.

TRICKS AND STRATEGIES

10. Be familiar to blog owner and negotiate
Before you submit your post, it's good if you do negotiation with the blog owner. So you must be familiar with him. Negotiate and ask the more right for your guest blogging. The example is insert more backlink in your guest post. But remember, if it is not allowed, don't enforce to do this because may be it is instead make you rejected.

11. Create useful and high quality post
It is so important and the main key of guest blogging. Show the blog owner that your post is useful and high quality. It also in order of create the best content as i talk in point 3. The more high quality of post, the bigger the opportunity to accepted and get feedbacks

12. Create the promotion content
What i mean is tell to reader about your business/blog in post body. But, make it implicit. Also, your promotion must really in topic. Don't OOT. But remember, if it is not allowed, don't enforce to do this because may be it is instead make you rejected.

13. Begin post with introduction paragraph.
Every i did a guest blog. I alwats begin my post by introduction paragraph. Like this...
" Hi.. I am syakirurohman of syakirurahman.blogspot.com. I am a guest author on this blog. Here, I will talk about bla bla bla bla. "..
Well.. like that. The result is my traffics from that blogs is more.
But remember, if it is not allowed, don't enforce to do this because may be it is instead make you rejected.

14. Prioritize individual post link than homepage link.
Usually, the blog owner allow the guest author to insert link in your post body. Surely, usually it is limited. So, prioritize the link to individual post in your blog than link to homepage. It is more potent to bring visitors to your blog because the thing they search is information. It is also better for SEO of blog.

15. Write in your style
You also must make you as yourself. Enjoy write a guest post in your style. Surely your style must interesting, good and cool. Make your reader enjoy read your post. it is important!.

16. Don't overload
Last, don't overload in doing of the tricks and strategies above. Everything overload is bad. Don't overload in promoting, insert too many links (backlinks spamming), negotiating and other.

Guest blogging is a marketing strategy in internet marketing. Exactly, it is a "Win-win solution" or mutual benefit strategy. The both sides (The guest author and the blog owner) get benefit from it. The guest author get new audiences and backlinks, while the blog owner get a new quality post without must create it.

It is a smart strategy to improve your business or your blog. Many internet marketers get success from this strategy. Even some internet marketers schedule to guest post every month. Day by day, blogging is increasingly becoming a common activity because more people begin to blog. People have been feel and know the advantages of blogging. Every minutes, There are many blog posts published in internet. The bloggers competing to become first in their niche.

This condition is not escape from monitoring of internet businessmen, especially who related with blogging. This is cause them competing to make blogging tools or platform whether it is paid or free. Well, include is blogger/blogspot and wordpress.

Both are most famous platform which competing each other. Here, we will talk about which is better among blogger and wordpress. I will explain you the advantages and disadvantages of both.

- Blogger is very easy to manage and understood. You even can understand navigation just for several hours. Blogger is designed by simple and easy.

- Blogger offer many awesome gadgets for your blog. There are 100+ awesome gadgets offered. You can add those in "layout" menu. You can place those gadgets where ever you want in your blog by changing their position by customize layouts. That is totally free and you will never required to pay for the services and features. There are no paid blogspot services and features.

- You don't have to think about bandwith, back-up of your data, capacity of harddisk. It's unlimited !. Just image and video you uploaded in blog which reduce the capacity. each account have 1000mb storage for images and videos. All of your data saved by google. Your data at google data center and that is totally safe.

- You can change your blog design/template as you like without touch codes. You can download free template at some website provided, such as Btemplates.com and templatedeluxe.com. And that's free.

- Domain name of each blogger blog is yourdomainname.blogspot.com. But you can choose that with your own domain name, Example : yourname.com. Surely, you need to buy it before. Blogger offer you to buy it for $10 per year.

- Blogger blog would automatically submitted to google search engines. You don't have to submit manually like other blog. Even, maybe your blog be prioritized in search engine because your blog is use google product. So, SEO for blogspot blog is easier.

- Blogspot blog is easy to integrated with adsense. Because, adsense is one of features in blogger. So you can earn money from your blog by adsense if you have google adsense account. But, get a adsense account is not something easy if your blog is too new and not qualified.

- Blogspot is google owned. Google is famous site in the world. So if you have any problem with your blog, you can helped by google support webpages which contains complete problem solving for all of google products. You can also discuss about google product in google product forum.

Disadvantages :

- Your blog is under google monitoring. Your blog (especially if still use domain : yourname.blogspot.com) will banned easily by google if you violate their privacy and policy. So, your freedom is limited.

- You can't to move your data to your self hosting. Blogger is disallow you to have self hosting for your blog. So, you can not manage and control your data as you like because those is at google data center.

- Features in blogger is not as complete as wordpress. blogger also is not provide plugins to installed. If you want to install the advanced gadgets for your blog, usually you must coding it yourself.

- Blogspot template is not as professional as wordpress. Maybe, that is because blogger is limit the user to edit/modify blogger blog by coding.  Blogger just support CSS and HTML to edit template.

There are 3 kinds of WordPress blog. Those is Free wordpress blog, Pro wordpress blog, and Blog which use Wordpress machine but the hosting is not in wordpress. Free wordpress blog is like blogspot. Pro wordpress blog is upgrade of free wordpress which use self hosting or premium service from wordpress. While, Blog which use Wordpress machine but not hosting in wordpress is just use wordpress machine as the cms to build sites. Its domain and hosting is bought from any web hosting service beside wordpress.

I actually became confused must describe which one. But, i will describe all advantages and disadvantages of three above together below. Because, generally those is have many similarity. The most fundamental is in : Wordpress machine.

Advantages :
- Wordpress machine is the advanced machine. Developed professionally by wordpress team. That's also always upgraded. The latest version of wordpress is 3.5 which released on december 11st 2012. And the most important it is totally FREE.

- Wordpress themes is designed very professional and impressive. Wordpress company offer many themes in their website. Even, you can download more themes in other website for free. There are many website provided free wordpress themes, one of them is Jauhari.net.

- Wordpress have many features and services. Wordpress also provide much free plugins to installed in your blog.  There are thousand plugins and gadgets provided. That's will make your blog more interesting. Moreover, If you buy and install paid plugins.

- Wordpress Machine is open source. So it is remove all limitations for you to make wordpress whatever you want do. Surely, you must mastered programming languages which used by wordpress. Blogger support PHP, MYSQL, CSS and HTML.

- For free wordpress, an account have 3072MB storage space for all data. That's very large. Especially if you upgrade your wordpress account to pro. Your storage space will added at least becaome 10GB (for $20 per year). Even, if you buy wordpress business ($299 per year), your space is unlimited. For wordpress blog in other self hosting, That's dependent to the hosting you bought.

- For wordpress blog in other self hosting, your data is fully managed and controlled by you. You freedom is not limited. For Pro wordpress blog, your data is maintained safely and never to banned though wordpress team know your data.

- Wordpress Blog will be seen more professional (especially in design) than blog which use platform besides wordpress.

Disadvantages :

- Navigation of  Wordpress machine is more difficult to understood for beginners. It is because wordpress have too many features so confused the beginner users.

- Free Wordpress blog is not supported for business. So if you try to install ads in your free wordpress blog, your blog will suspended by wordpress team. You must upgrade your blog to earn money from your blog. So, Don't ever free wordpress blog if your blogging aim is for business.

- Wordpress is not supported by google. So if you want to do SEO for your blog (SEO of google) you must submitted your blog manually. It is not like Blogspot.

- Use wordpress blog to business is expensive, though the machine is free. If you want earn money from your wordpress blog, you must spend your money before. Whether it is for upgrade to pro or to buy self hosting. You also must buy some plugins or features to make your blog more professional.


Well, Now which you choose ? which do you think is better ?
Just consider it carefully in order you won't regret later. Yeah, i am serious. Don't only see which do you think is more advantages, But Think also, is it macth with your condition, time, skill, interest and maybe with your finances ?

If you like and have more time, it would be better if you try both. The advantages and disadvantages above surely are not describe all, though me give you the best.

Then, What must i do after choose one of them ?
I have a few tips and notices that maybe useful for you to blog. Though it is simple, but hopefully it meaningful..

- Whatever you choose, If you are new in blogging and the two tools above, seek the information and tutorial how to manage it. Some tutorial you can find in this blog. Even, it would better if you like to do research with the tools you use. I also did it.
Oh, I almost forget, Just tell you that you will easier to find blogspot/blogger tutorial in internet. It maybe because blogspot users is more. But, it is not mean you can't find wordpress tutorial. You can find the tutorial in wordpress forum. Just associate, sharing and helping each other with other users.

- Whatever you choose, That's your choice. Be consistent and don't fickle to migrate to other tools. Enjoy it and accept all features & services of the tools. Even, disadvantages. There are no something perfect. Migrate to other tools is means you begin to build your blog from the beginning, though you can import your contents. It is allows you would lost some visitors whom have you got.

- Whatever you choose, that will not decide you to become professional and success blogger. Something which determine you to become professional is hard working. You even can become professional without the two above, if you have endeavor. So, don't get too hung up by tools. Think about planning and what you do after it, is more important of all.

How to Add Authors/Admins in Blogspot/Blogger Blog

Sometimes, we feel blogging is make us tired and bored. Well, if you too long in front of computer to blogging, you will feel it. This is apply for everyone. At this time we will not enjoy blog or write a post. we need the fresh mind and body to blog. especially if you are part-time blogger. while, you want to post as much as possible. 

Therefore, we need other people to help us to write in our blog. either paid or not. If we have others to write in our blog, we are not too tired to blogging. In addition, our blog always updated and never lost idea to post.
In blogspot/blogger, we allowed to add the authors of our blog. So, we can invite others to blog together. Here, I will explain you how to add authors/admins to our blogspot blog. Just follow the steps below :
1. Log in to Your Dashboard.
2. Go to "Setting" menu of your blog you choose.
3. You will automatically in "basic" sub menu.
4. Then, See to the bottom and you will find "Permissions" box.



5. In "Blog author", Click "+Add Authors" which placed under the active admins.
6. Then, type the email of person you like to invite.



7. Click "Invite Authors" to invite. You also can choose the email from your contacts.
8. The invited person will accept an email invitation from you. If he confirm and agree, he will become the author of your blog.
9. The addition of author was succeed.

*note : You can select what the position of the person you invited. There are two position. That's Author and Admin. Author can only write a post for blog and the position is under admin. While, Admin can access all of administrator of your blog. Admin is same like the blog owner.

*Tips : Don't ever to give admin position to anyone, Except if he is really trusted. A admin can give the sack to other admin. So you (as the owner of blog) may be sacked by the admin you invited and your blog will be taken and stolen. It is based my experience. Be careful!.

How to Set or Change Website/Blog Favicon

Favicon(small icon image beside website/blog title) is an important thing you must consider. This is related with your website/blog identity. Usually, Favicon is logo of website. So, If you are not have yet favicon for your site or your favicon is still default, immediately change it. That's your website merk.
To set the favicon for your site, just follow the steps below :

The way 1 :
This way is apply with all kind of website. This is very simple.

1. Log in to website administrator.
2. Go to The HTML editor of that site.
3. Then, Put the following codes above </head> tag code.

<link rel="shortcut icon" href= "image location/URL">

4. Save it and finish.

The way 2 :
This way is for blogger/blogspot blog. Actually, you can do the way 1 in blogger (dashboard>template>edit HTML). But if you don't want to make yourself confuse by source code, you can do this way.
1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Go to "Layout" menu.
3. See the gadget of favicon (usually place at top left corner).

4. Click edit and configure your favicon.

5. after that, click save and the favicon was set.

Those is the sites i recommend to download free template because those has been famous and provide good templates. Just recommendation for you, Read the tips to choose template design before you download in order you choose the good design.

Well, After you download or buy the template, Extract the file because usually the downloaded template is still compressed by winrar of other compressor software. Then, you must install that to your blog.
Follow the steps below to install and use your new template for your blog.

1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Click the blog title which you will change the template
3. Go to "Template" menu.
4. See to the top right corner and find "Backup/Restore", Click that.
5. "Download full template" to backup your currently template.



6. Then, Choose file to upload your new template which have downloaded.
7. Find the directory of the template file was extracted.




8. Then open and upload the file with .xml format.
9. well, the template was uploaded and used.

How to Hide Blogger/Blogspot Navbar of Your Blog

Navbar or Navigation Bar is a default widget of blogspot/blogger blog which was installed automatically. Navbar is horizontal elongated which usually located at part top of blog (though can be moved).
Some bloggers feel disturbed with this widget. Therefore, they hide bloggers navbar from their blog. Well, Maybe you are one of them. So, If you want to hide your blogger/blogspot navbar too, You can follow the steps below :

The way 1:
Before, you can't do this way because blogspot not provide this way to hide navbar. Before, Blogspot disallow you to hide navbar. But, maybe because there are too many users who use bugs(The way 2 and 3) to hide navbar, so blogspot allow this and provide the formal and simple way to hide navbar. the steps is :

1. Log in to your dashboard.
2. Go to "Layout" Menu
3. Click "edit" of navbar widget.
4. Then you will taken to this new window page :

5. Set your Navbar Configuration become "Off" (see the image above).
6. save and your navbar has been hidden.

The way 2 :
1. Log in to your dashboard.
2. Go to "Template" menu
3. Click "EDIT HTML".
4. Proceed. *tips : backup your template before you editing HTML of template.
5. Find This code : ]]></b:skin>
6. Then Put The following codes above ]]></b:skin> ( or between <b:skin><![CDATA[ and </b:skin> ) :

#navbar-iframe {
height:0px;
visibility:hidden;
display:none;
}

7. save and your navbar has been hidden.

The way 3 :
1. Log in to your dashboard.
2. Go to "Template" menu
3. Click "EDIT HTML".
4. Proceed. *tips : backup your template before you editing HTML of template.
5. Then put the following code below <body> or better is above </head> :

</style>

6. save and your navbar has been hidden.

How to Insert Image to Blog Post

Image is a media for complete your blog posts in order more interesting. We know, the people prefer the things which is have visualization than which is just contain words. So, Image also is used to make your blog readers not bored reading your articles.

In addition, Image is good for SEO too. We can improve our SEO of content by put some keywords in "img alt". Therefore, try to put minimum an image in a post. For you who don't know how to put pictures in your blog articles, Just follow the steps below :

1. Log in to your Dashboard

2. Create a new post for your blog

3. See to right top and find the icon like the screenshot below :

4. Click that and you will taken to panel like below :

5. If you want to insert image from your computer, Just click the "choose file" button to upload image.

after you upload your image, select and add the image to your post.

6. You also can insert image from your picassa image collection, your image in your blog, from your phone, take by webcam, and by put URL of Image.

How to Edit Robots.txt File in Blogger/Blogspot

Some days ago, I posted about what's robots.txt and how to set it. Well, maybe this is the complement of that post. This post is the step to edit robots.txt file in blogspot/blogger. It is because the most blogger is use blogspot/blogger as their blog paltform. The way to edit or set robots.txt file in blogger is simple because there is a feature to enabling to edit it. The ways is the following :

1. Log in to dashboard.
2. Select the "setting" menu of blog which it robots.txt will be edited.
3. Select "search preferences"
4. See the Crawler and indexing menu. there is "custom robots.txt".

5. Click "edit" then "yes" to enable editing.

6. Finish, you can edit and set your robots.txt file.

Warning! Use with caution. Incorrect use of these features can result in your blog being ignored by search engines.

You must improve your skill continuously. searching and reading other blogs with same and related niche is a way to improve your skill and knowledge. By other word, you must frequently Blogwalking. extensive knowledge will cause you to make high quality contents. An article which wrote by a professional will be high quality. 2 pattern of Blogging for business that must you known

Okay, bloggers. Now, with a cup of coffee i write this to  share about my idea that actually i got yesterday. But, i just can write it now because i am busy. though i am not a professional blogger, but i have idea that maybe important for you if you will begin blogging for money.
match with the title, there are two pattern of Blogging for money. both of them have been many run by peoples. I compose this patterns because i seen much of my blogging friends is different in earn money from their blog. some of them are easy to earn, but the others is very difficult. it is because they have no right pattern so their blogging activity wrong direction and it's not little that make them frustration. one of the patterns is should you choose in order your direction and goal is exact. it is up to you because it depend on your characteristic, offline activity and business, hobby, necessity, and others.
Okay, These is the patterns ;

1. Quick to earn, but you no professional/specialist and no famous.

this pattern is must you apply if you need quickly to earn your money from blogs. The ways is you must posting on your blog as much as possible everyday. the minimun article you must post everyday is 5 articles. the peoples who run with this pattern usually is not create articles originally, but by rewrite or copy-paste by include the source of articles. the good and famous blogs that use this pattern example is terselubung.blogspot.com and www.apakabardunia.com. it is done on about 3-4 month. after that 3-4 month, usually your visitors have been much and your blog ready to earn. Blogging with this pattern usually have no spesific topic. the topics usually is about unique facts, health, news, selebrity, technology, internet, tips and tricks, and others. sometimes, one article with other is absolutely have no topic relation. therefore, you will not become a professional/specialist because your blogging niche is no spesific. you also will not famous because you are not specialist.
advantages of this pattern:
- you will quickly to earn money
- there are no special skill required because your articles is quote  from other blogs
- you no need to have idea to post your articles.
- your blog will growing rapidly because your articles is general and sought-after by peoples.
disadvantages of this pattern:
- you will not feel a sensation of how wonderful sharing because you actually not share your knowledge/idea.
- you will quickly to bored or saturated because you will feel your job is boring and not impressive.
- you will not become a professional/specialist so you are not famous.
- if you too frequently posting with no edit slightest, your blog at risk blocked by google panda..

*tips : - if you post, just edit or rewrite the articles minimum 30%. read also > tips to rewrite articles from other blogs.
- don't fill your content with only quoted articles.. just post your original occasional

2. you become Professional/specialist and famous, but slow to earn.

this pattern usually run by the peoples who make Blogging as his hobby and part-time Job, but Serious to manage his blog. usually the blog topics is about Author job/specialist on his other business(either online or offline). the author don't want to earn blog quickly, and even some of them is not make blog as their income. they usually is volunteered to share his ideas/knowledges. their goal is for long time and to be a professional/specialist on their topics. Usually, This kind of blogger more familiar and friendly with their blog readers. their blog is not. They usually have many fans because his specialist. The author usually posting one post/day or minimum 3-4 post/week. usually the articles is very useful and weighted. They enjoy and happy blogging without thing about money.
This kind of blog usually slowly to growing. it's need minimun 1 year to become famous, that's by requirement posting minimum 3-4 post/week. But when they was famous and have many fans, they will very easy to earn. The opportunity to earn also very much. their income from blog will very much compared by The first Pattern.
the example blogs with this pattern are www.problogger.net, dailyblogtips.com, www.blogguebo.com, some photograph blogs and others.
advantages :
- you will feel a sensation of how wonderful sharing because you share your knowledge/idea.
- you will become specialist on your niche and you will famous.
- you will have many fans.
- you will not feel bored because your job is pelasure.
- though long time, but when your blog ready to earn, you will have many opportunity and earn far more than the blogs with the first pattern because your earnings is not only from ads. usually you can have a online/offline course about your specialist and this is easy to done because you have a brand.
disadvantages :
- you can't earn your blog quickly.
- there are a special skill required.
- you need a fresh idea to posting.
- you must patient and persistent to blogging.

from the two above, which will you choose ? which the match for  you?. once again, it is up to you because it depend with your state.
just my opinion, Blogging with the second pattern is better but not all of person can run it. it is will better again if you collaborate the first pattern and second pattern. but i sure, you will not be able to run it if you manage blog alone. it is because you must frequently posting with the fresh idea on your niche, you will stress!!. if you want to collaborate the first and second pattern you must have a team and the enough time. indeed, if you run with collaborated pattern, you will quick to success. the example of blog with collaborate pattern is mashable.com and techcrunch.com.. the 2 sites that not foreign for you.
