Well, The answer is TITLE. Title is most important element for SEO of website. Therefore you must pay more attention for this.
Then, What is Title Tag ?
Title tag is a html code which is used to create title for site page. In HTML code, Title tag is placed between head tag(<head></head>). Title tag used by robot crawler to detected that the sentences between title tag is title of pages.

The first i say is : I would never write this post if there are no missing title tags. hehehe.

Everyone have known that title is very important. So, when they create a site page, they are never underestimate it. They surely complete the page with title tag.

Unfortunately, any site -In this case is dynamic site- not only constructed by pages which created manually (by type the source codes). Moreover a blog pages which created by tools. Sure, any site have a program that used to create page automatically, which in general is to create page of post or other updated information.

Well, the problem is in the program. The error in the program can cause missing title tags. This can also occur in your blogger blogs if your meta tags have an error.

However, blogger actually has set their blog free of this error. As Default, Blogger blogs has set without any error. So, This error usually caused by users which put meta tags manually in their blog. Indeed, This is will make the blog more seo friendly. But, This also make an error, missing title tags.

In blogger blog, Usually the pages which missing title tags are archive pages, pagination pages, search result pages, and even static pages.

So, if you want to add meta tags manually for your blog, be careful! because some of codes in tutorial instead make an error in your blog.

In this blog also there are post about SEO friendly Meta Tags. But, I guarantee you will not be find your blog have an error if you use SEO friendly meta tags which i recommended.

-How can you know your blog/site pages have missing title tags?-

There are two ways to know your blog pages have missing title tags :

1. You open the pages in your blog/site one by one in your browser. If you see a page which has no title, then that page is missing title tags.

2. You use Google webmaster tools for your blog. See the tutorial about Google Webmaster tools in this blog if you new in Google webmaster.

In Google webmaster tools, there is a feature to detect your blog pages with missing title tags. Just go to Optimization Menu > Html improvement > Missing title tags.

-How to fix and avoid missing title tags in blogspot blog?-

If you found your blog pages missing the title tags, Immediately fix it by the way below :

1. Log in to your Dashboard.
2. Go to Template Menu of blog selected.
3. click "Edit HTML". *don't forget to backup your template before edit HTML

4. Find the code "<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>". you can press "CTRL + F" to search.

5. After that, Put the following codes under <b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>

If be translated to human language, the code above is mean :

You can remove " | <data:blog.title/> " if you want your page title not followed by your blog title. But, i recommend you to keep use blog title in your blog pages. Because, I think that's more SEO friendly and more interesting. You also can modify " | " as you like. The example change it by " : " or " - ". That's up to you.

6. Finally, Save and finish editing. Just check the result.

-How about site besides blogger blog? for example wordpress or other website?-

Surely, if the kind of site is different then the way is different too. But, in other site besides blogger, this case is very rare found. So, I am not discuss it here. Maybe, i will post it later. Probably, This post is late because this feature was released about a week ago. Some blogs like this blog also have been publish similar post like this. However, probably among of you there are still don't know about this feature. So, i will explain you.

Google team seemed continue to develop their products. Well, one of which is by further integrated Google+ and Blogger. Some times ago, we can integrate our Google+ account with blogger. Now, we can mention the peoples in our circles in Google+ into our blog posts. This as if make our blog post is Google+ post too.

Surely, this feature is make us more comfort to blogging in blogger. Google team also don't add this feature by useless. There are some advantages of this features. that is :

1. Now, Google+ is one of social networking sites which able to compete with Facebook. This is caused by increase of user number day by day. By this feature, we can tell many people in our circle in Google+ that you posted an articles in your blog. The people whom mentioned will accept a notification because your mention. If they interested to your post, they will visit your site to read it. So, you get extra visitors from that. This feature is a good SMO tricks to build your visitors and introduce your blog to the world.

2. If your post is good and useful for them, your authority increased  either in Google+ or Blogger.

How to Mention People in google+ circle in Blog Post?

Well, it is very easy..
1. Surely you need an account of Google+ and integrate it to your blogger account.
2. Create a new post in blogger
3. Then, Just type '+' in compose, followed by name whom you mention. See the image below.

The list of name people in your circle usually will appear when you type + followed by initial letter of name. You just to choose them.

Though this feature is very useful. But, it doesn't rule out the possibility that this feature will harm you. So, See the tips below to avoid you from it negative effects:

1. Don't ever to mention people in your blog posts which is you know that is not useful and apply for them. You will considered as spammer.

2. Don't flood and arbitrarily to mention many people in your post while you don't know what's your posts is useful for them?.

3. Just mention people whom you know that they are indeed need your post.

4. Don't too many to mention people in your posts. Because, maybe it will ruin your main content.

5. Don't too often to mention someone though firstly he was felt your post is useful. However, He will bored if you flood him.

What is Robots.txt

Robot.txt file is a file with text(.txt) format that owned by each sites that online in internet. Any sites should have this file or the security of that site will broken. Robot.txt serves to control and regulate which the pages or directories will published in search engines. how it works is by put some codes inside it to control search engines to crawl or not the pages in that website. It surely to protect your system pages to known by people. Administrator pages is a page which abstinence to known by peoples or indexed by search engines. So, all of sites surely disallowing it administrator pages to indexed by search engines. Well, It is did by robot.txt. Robot.txt allow you to manage which the pages may crawled and indexed by search engines.
same as website, Blog also have robots.txt file. Only, robots.txt in a blog usually have set as default by the blogger platform. For blogspot blog, the default of the robots.txt is set like this :

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google
Disallow:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /search
Allow: /

Sitemap: http://blogURL/feeds/posts/default?orderby=UPDATED


The meaning of the code above is the robots.txt file allow the google adsense crawler to crawl all pages of your site invariably, and allow all crawler to crawl all of your blog pages except the page with url prefix blogURL/search. The pages with this url prefix is labels and archives post pages.

How to Set Robots.txt

If you want to modify and set your robots.txt, firstly you must be careful because an error of your setting will make your website SERP on search engines disappear. You must have a clear purpose because it is not a little thing for your site/blog.
Okay, now I will tell you how to set it by right. You must know the meaning of each codes in robots.txt file above.

" user-agent : Mediapartners-Google " : it is means that the codes which placed under it apply only with Mediapartners-Google crawler. Mediapartners-Google is google adsense crawler.

" Disallow: " : It is means that no pages disallowed to crawl by crawler. By other word, allow the crawler to crawl all pages on the site.

" user-agent : * " : it is means that the codes which placed under it is apply with all of search engines/crawler

" Disallow: /search " : Disallow the crawler selected to crawl the url that have prefix blogurl/seach...

" Allow: / " : Allow the crawler to crawl all of pages.

" Sitemap: http://blogURL/feeds/posts/default?orderby=UPDATED " : this is sitemap of your site which submitted to crawled by crawler.

Not only the codes above can use in robots.txt. Just for the example, i want to blocked this post by robots.txt in order do not indexed by all of search engines. so i can do it by put this code.

well, to block the root folders or directories(included it contents) in your site, you can do this :

user-agent : *
Disallow: /cgi-bin/
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Disallow: /wp-includes/

Disallow: /wp-content/cache/
Disallow: /wp-content/themes/

we can also set robots.txt in order to do not crawl and index a specific keyword. the example we want to block the word "people" to no-indexed by all search engines. we can set like this :

Disallow: /search/*people

we can also set robots.txt to block the file in your site with specific format. The example we will block file with format php(.php), css(.css) and javascript(.js).

Disallow: /*.php$
Disallow: /*.js$
Disallow: /*.css$

User Agent

In setting of your robots.txt, you can set which the crawler you allowed or disallowed to crawl. This is did by setting the user agent. Therefore, you must know the names of some famous crawlers/spiders. This is it lists :

It is because each sites have different directories too. The setting robots.txt of wordpress blog surely will different with blogspot blog, but the rules of codes are same.
-If you have a sites which no use blogspot platform. you must add robots.txt file and locate it on main root of your site.

3. Use good post search description
The post search description is displayed more details in search engines result. So we must optimize it too. Now, Blogger was had search description feature that work for displaying post description in search result. This is Meta description for posts. Just optimize it by fill it by detail desricption of post and fill main keywords there.

4. Main keyword at beginning or end of articles
Well. your main keyword must located at beginning or end of the post. Why ? it is because search engines will take it as priority than middle of post. Try to use much different words in the sentences that have related or same purpose. This is will enrich keywords.

5. Use Img alt and title
If you use image in post body, just complete it by use image alt and title of image. For blogspot user, the ways is by click image and choose properties. Why we must do it ? it is because search engines can't read and index images, but by use img alt and title the images will read and indexed by search engines. make different img alt and img title too to enrich keywords.

6. No keywords stuffing
though the post with rich keywords is good, but all that excessive is always bad. Keyword stuffing is make your post have too many keywords and too many repeated main words in a paragraph. This is very hated by google search engines and you likely will banned if google detect your blog perform keyword stuffing.

7. Use heading or sub title
Heading or sub title in post body can optimize your contents too. your post will structured by this. In addition, Search engines also like a content that made structured. Usually sub title will considered as main keywords too by search engines. just use header tags like H3, H4 in your post body.

8. Bold, italic and underline font for main keywords
Unique style font set for main keywords is important too. This is for more emphasis to search engines in order consider it is main keywords. Search engines have more attention to the words or sentences that use font style.

9. Linking your article to relevant articles
Well, If you want to linking your article to other articles in your blog or other blog, be careful. You must linking to relevant article. relevant article is the article which have same keywords with your post. Google hate the articles that linking to non-relevant articles. It will consider spam link by google.

10. Linked your article from relevant articles
It same with 9th tips, if you want to linked your article from your other articles, it must linked from relevant articles.

11. Linking or linked with good and high rank blog
aside from your article you must link with relevant articles. the blog which linking or linked must have a good pagerank. It will make google consider your post is good because linked with good blog.

12. Match and relevant anchor link.
If you linking to other articles or blog from your post, just use the anchor word which represents the articles you linked. Don't use the word "blog" as anchor, while you linking it to other article that is not related with that word.

13. Long of articles
Long of your articles also affect your SEO. The standard of article long is about 200 - 1000 words per article.

14. Not too many links
Too many links in your articles is bad. Especially if the links is dofollow. The search engines will be troubled becuase it forced to follow and crawl all links you linked. It also can tired (hehe).

15. Macth category
The post which much category will be good and easy to index and understanded by search engines because usually the name a category is a main keyword of the post included.

The 15 Tips above is ordered by how important and the priority of points. So, the first tips point is most important and the 15th is not too important. So, you surely know what you must do first.

SEO onpage which i will post now, i divide into two parts. This post is first parts. The second parts is about optimizing content for Search engine crawlers. It is so important because can be said that is the main of SEO.
So, this post is explain you how to optimize your blog page attributes and elements in order the crawler easy to crawl it. if the crawlers easy to crawl your site, your site/blog will get good position and SERP on that search engines. The result, Your Blog will get more visitors from that search engines.
Well, The following is some tips and tricks to optimize your Blog page/Homepage :

1. SEO Friendly Title
Surely, The first thing that you must be considered it the Title of your Blog. The most important is your Blog title must match with your blog contents. But only this is not enough. The SEO friendly Blog Title is must accompanied by Tag Line and main keyword. The example is this blog that have main title : syakirurahman and tag line : How to Blogging professionally. So, how to do it ?. you can do it by modify your meta title. like this ;
Dashboard > Template > EDIT html >Just find the tag code below :

Then, modify it be :

So, your blog result on search engine is like this :

2. Match your Meta Description with your content
The other important thing is meta description of blog. meta description is a description of your blog who crawled, submitted and Shown in search engines. Meta description must match with blog content. it also must contain main keyword of your blog. You must describe your blog as details as possible but no exceed the limit. the maximum your meta description is about 3 sentences.

3. Macth Keyword and no Keyword Stuffing



It same with meta description, your blog keyword also must macth with your blog contents. though now meta keyword was ignored by google search engine, but other search engines still count it.
your blog also have no keyword stuffing. The blog can said contain keyword stuffing if the meta keyword of that blog is more than 10 keywords. It is not good for your SEO. The Good blog is which have 5 - 10 keywords in it pages.

4. Good Arrangement of Header Tags (H1,H2,H3,H4,H5,H6,H7)
on a site or blog, surely you found the sentences or words which used as title or header. A title or header is will better and SEO friendly if use HTML tag <h1></h1> - <h7></h7>. it is because the search engines will crawled and consider the words who put between that tags is the important and main words in your blog. So, the search engines will index and place it on the position that easy to see by search engine users. by other word, your blog will have good SERP because header tags. The following is the general use method for header tags in blog.

<H1></H1> : For your blog title.
<H2></H2> : For widgets title.
<H3></H3> : For Articles title.
<H4></H4> : For an important quote in articles, other title which have smaller scale in blog.
<H5></H5> - <H7></H7> : used rarely

You can modify and decorate the header tags style by Css codes too.

5. The HTML Codes of Content Must Located at Upper
It is talked about html codes of your blog. html structure is also influence SEO of blog. it is because the search engines crawling a site through html codes. if the content codes located at upper, the search engines will crawl it earlier, so your contents will indexed as priority because search engines assume the crawled earlier is more important.
Some bloggers said that the position of content on the blog page which SEO friendly is at left side, with sidebar at right side. actually it is misconception, because the position on blog page can manipulated by CSS code. this misconception is because the content located at left side generally it codes located at upper of html structure. but, once again, it can manipulated by CSS code.
Generally, the html codes structure of blogs is like these :

A. blog with 2 columns template with sidebar at right:

which the above lists the best? A. Right! it is because the content codes at upper. So, how about B and C ?. if your blog HTML structure is like B and C, you can move the contents codes to upper (below header codes). Well, how about output position in blog page ?. it is easy. you just manipulate your css codes so the content position on blog page is not changed.

*note : be careful if you modify your blog html codes.

6. Make Link on One Pages no More 100 Links (Either Internal or External)
One thing you must consider for your blog SEO is the number of link (especially dofollow link) on each page of blog. Either it is links to other pages in your blog(internal links) or links to other blogs(external links). The maximum links in a page of blog is 100 links. Why no more ? It is because Search engines will be troubled to follow links in page if it more than 100 links. If you want to know how many links in your blog pages, you can use SEO site tools (toolbar for chrome) to check it.

7. Make Blog Is Not Heavy And No Need Long Time to Loaded
Now, the time of loading a blog be a consideration Google search engine to give good SERP to that blog. It is happened since google changed it algorithm some time ago become google panda. Indeed, it is good for comfort of internet users.
So, make light your blog by discard some widgets which not too important, minimize script usage on your blog, and discard unused CSS codes.

it is first. blogwalking on This blog will add your knowlegde about your niche because your knowledge is different with others. in addition, if you get backlink from this blog, it is good because google will more friendly if your blog linked by same niche blogs. You also can make a project cooperation with the owner blog because your specialist is same.

2. Blogwalking on doffolow blogs

it is more important if your main goal is to link building. because it is the main key of link building from blogwalking. you will get free backlink on these blogs.

3. Blogwalking on blogs with top or recent commentator widget.

it is because allows you to shown on this widget, so your profil more potentially clicked and visited.

4. If there are a chatbox widget, leave also your signature there.

It function is almost same with tips 3. it is allows you to shown on this chatbox  widget, so your profil more potentially clicked and visited.

5. Subscribe the blog you visited if you feel that is useful

It is important to add your knowledge. make sure the blog you subscibe have good content and not spammer.

6. Fill the guest book

Fill the guest book if the blog provide it. the guest book is more effective for introduce your self and make relationship with the blog owner. leave also your blog link. Remember! The tips for Fill the guest book is same like leave comments.

Well, i give you two options. it because i think the two profil is more use by peoples and it is good.

advantages :
-you can show your Profil picture so you will more known.
-your self image will better because you will considered more friendly.
-peoples will consider you are a blogger too.
disadvantage :
-you can't leave anchor link. if you want to leave your blog url, you must put in on your comment body
-you don't get free backlink

b. Comment with "Name/Url"

advantages :
-you can leave anchor link. you just put your name and your blog url. you no need to put your link on comment body. it's more effective
-you get free backlink
disadvantages :
-you can't show your Profil picture.
-your identity is difficult to know. so you violate the tips number 8.

*not all blog provide "name/Url" profil to comment

which better for you ?


10. leave a comment that accordance with article content

Just leave a comment that accordance with content. it is the main point to make good comment. if the article tell about "What is SMO (Social Media Optimization) ?", so you must comment about SMO too.

11. leave comment with good, friendly, humble and polite language

Don't Comment with impolite and arrogant speak. just speak by good. it is will make a good relationship. most people more loving a regular ones with humble speak than a master but with arrogant speak.

12. become a first commentator

The owner of blog you commented will more appreciate you than others if you are first commentator. in addition, your profil more potentially clicked and visited.

13. commenting by a question.

it function is in order you get response from the blog owner or other commentators. make your question is good and high quality. It also will make your comment be good.

14. the long of comment is not too short and not too long

make your comment not too short and not too long. if your comment is too short, you will considered a spammer and your comment not good. and if you comment too long, the ones will lazy to read your comment.

15. give a suggestion or opinion

if you have suggestion or opinion about the articles you comment, just write it though your suggestion is disagree with the owner statement on article. but keep polite. say that you also a newbie blogger too. make a discussion with it.

*blogwalking and Commenting a blog is the things that can't be separated, so I combine the both of tips on this post.

Auto "Meta Tags Description" Feature to Improve SEO

on my previous post i many said about auto meta tags description feature on blogger. well, some times ago Blogger have been add "meta tags description" feature. firstly, do you know the advantage of it ? let me explain. Meta tags Description  is a vital meta tags. it is tell search engines a description about the page crawled. without meta description, your blog page will poor SEO and Search engines is not friendly. for more details, see the screenshot below :

the part that i mark with red line is Meta tags Description. so maybe you was feel how important meta description.

Before, we should Install meta tags description manually. that i by put the coding meta description under <head> tag (read also : how meta tags SEO friendly). but now, we no need to put complicated codes to install it. we only need to type the description we like. moreover, after we install it automatically, there will other features that added by blogger. that is Snippet description of each Post. it is the feature that we no got before install meta description automatically. so i think you must set your auto meta tags description. to do it, just follow the step below.

1. Log in to your dashboard

2. Go to "Setting" Menu.

3. Choose Search Preferences.

4. on top, you will find meta tags. you must enabled it and type your meta tags description.

5. your meta description was set. just wait until the search engines re-index your blog.

*tips: create your meta description with main keyword. explain by details your blog content but not too long.

How to fix duplicate meta description for blogger

Some times ago, i confuse with my blog (www.blogberbagi.com) meta description that duplicated. i am know it when i check my blog on google webmasters tools. i see my blog have too many duplicate meta description. i also see and wonder why when i share my posts to facebook, my posts always have same snippet description. Masters of SEO said that Meta description is most vitals meta tags. if we have many duplicate meta description, our posts with same meta description will considered duplicate content by search engines. by it, our Search Engines Result Page(SERP) will down. it also danger because if we have many duplicate content, we at risk to banned by google. Duplicate meta description is forbidden in SEO. I am so confused and worried..

i start to searching on many blogs/sites to find how to fix it. after i have searching long enough, finally i found how to fix it. i immediately to try it and finally it fixed.
actually it is just my error when i modify my meta tags before. and i will never to do it again.
so how i solve duplicate meta description problem ?

1. log in to your dashboard.
2. go to "template" menu.
3. edit HTML. *don't forget to backup your template before.
4. proceed.
5. find this code : <meta content='your blog description' name='description'/> or <meta name='description' content='your blog descriptions' />.. you can press ctrl + F to do search.
6. after find it, insert the red code like below :

<b:if cond='data:blog.url == data:blog.homepageUrl'>
<meta content='Description'  name='description'/>
<meta content='keyword1 keyword2 keyword3 ...' name='keywords'/>
</b:if>

*it is mean that your blog description just for your home page description. this is exception because use <b:if> tags. by this, you post description will not use blog description as it snippet description.

7. then, save it. your duplicate meta description will fixed.
